Interviewing a DEV — Featuring TT Farm!
The ThunderCore ecosystem has been growing! Over the past year, we’re seen many more DApps deployed on the ThunderCore blockchain by developers all over the world. These developers spend countless hours developing, testing, and scaling their DApps. This week, we got a chance to interview TT Farm’s developers to learn more about their DApp — TTFarm and their experience of developing and scaling their DApp to become one of the leading projects built on ThunderCore!
TT Farm has been leading the charts across many sectors including being ranked within the top 5 DApps on dappradar ranked by 30D volume. TTFarm has also grown their communities at an exponential growth rate giving it the title of one of the largest and fastest growing communities on ThunderCore! At the same time, they released their own token “FTT — Farm Thunder Token” which is valued at around $3 on TTSwap and has a limited supply of 1M tokens and have sold over 3M USD worth of animals till date!
Here’s our interview with TT Farm’s team:
1. Could you briefly introduce your team and your DApp TT Farm?
TT Farm is a DeFi project deployed on the ThunderCore blockchain. We sell animals which have their own unique and individual characteristics, such as the differences in cost, lifetime, and return on investment in the form of APR. These differences allow users to manage their investment portfolio and diversify their investment methods.
2. What was your inspiration for developing TT Farm?
TT Farm started out as a DeFi project that gamifies the purchase of Thunder Tokens (TT) though BUSD, allowing users to purchase all kinds of animals with differences in their cost, lifetime and their return on investment in the form of an APR. As a developer, we’ve been working in the DeFi space for a while and wanted to introduce a gamified version of DeFi to make it easier for users to understand, hence TT Farm was born!
3. Why did you choose to develop your DApp TT Farm on the ThunderCore blockchain?
Because there are different kinds of DApps in the ThunderCore ecosystem, both users and developers can benefit from its 4,000+ TPS, sub-second confirmation times, and low gas fees. Besides, there’s no DeFi project that has gamified the purchase of assets on ThunderCore blockchain so far. Hence, the ThunderCore chain is the optimal place to deploy our project. We’re also looking forward to the growth of users and DApps on the ThunderCore Hub.
4. What makes TT Farm stand out or unique compared to other DApps on ThunderCore?
TT Farm is an unprecedented and the only DeFi project that uses deposits to earn an APR through gamified purchase of animals. Hence, making it different from other DeFi products on ThunderCore; users can earn interests with high APR via deposits (buying animals) in TT Farm. Therefore, our team decided to use a blue ocean strategy to stand out by developing on ThunderCore.
5. What’s the most difficult experience that you’ve had with developing TT Farm? And how did you solve it?
The most difficult issue might be making sure that our product always functions properly and to ensure that they are released perfectly on time. Sometimes, we are urged to release new animals or programs to meet users’ expectations. Unfortunately, things don’t always go smoothly but we aim to solve all bugs and errors that we find as soon as possible. We solve our problems by testing and discussing with our team members. Also, we’re thankful for all the farmers’ understanding. We promise to bring more animals and fun to TT Farm in the near future!
6. TT Farm has become a very successful and popular DApp on ThunderCore, what was your secret strategy to success?
I think there are two strategies that may contribute to TTFarm’s success on ThunderCore. First is always supporting our users whenever they need us. Users can interact and contact us via Telegram and Twitter. Therefore, users can get first-hand announcements anytime & anywhere. Another tip is staying creative and innovative! We launch special events and release high APR animals several times a month to attract more users. For example, we’re always celebrating plenty of festivals with our farmers in TT Farm, so remember to join us in our celebrations!
7. Would you recommend developers to develop DApps on ThunderCore? And why?
Yes, the developers can easily reach out to ThunderCore’s team on Discord or visit the Developer Portal when you face development issues. Furthermore, ThunderCore has launched a developer program called $10 Million Growth Fund recently for ecosystem expansion and will distribute $10 million funds to incentivize developers. Thus, we strongly encourage more fellow developers to develop their DApps on ThunderCore.
8. Are you planning to develop any other DApps?

9. I noticed that you also released your own TT20 token — FTT (Farm Thunder Token), what are the main utilities at the moment? And are there any other utilities for FTT in the future?
The main utilities are the following:
- Community incentive programs
- Ecosystem development
- Liquidity provider on TTSwap: Become a liquidity provider on TTSwap for the FTT/TT trading pair and earn transactional fees in the form of APR.
- Staking (VIP benefits)
- Discount — Stake a certain amount of FTTs and get a price discount on ALL animals. The more you stake the more discounts you get.
- Boost APR — Stake a certain amount of FTTs and boost your purchased animal’s APR by a certain percentage. The more you stake the more you can boost.
- Burn/Buy-back programs
In the future FTT will have more features in TT Farm version 3.0, please stay tuned!

10. What are the future plans for TT Farm? Do you have any new upcoming features planned?
The TT Farm team is working hard to add more products and updates to our existing DApp and at the same time, we aim to improve the overall experience for all users on the TT Farm. More periodic updates are coming soon, stay tuned!
