ThunderCore is a public blockchain that is EVM compatible that supports: 4000+ TPS, low gas fees (<$0.00001), 1 sec confirmation.

Recently, ThunderCore announced the next major network upgrade for the ThunderCore Blockchain — the Iris Hard Fork! The main goal for this hard fork is to upgrade ThunderCore’s EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) compatibility to the latest version — Istanbul. With the EVM compatibility upgraded to the latest version, developing projects and dapps on ThunderCore will become much more developer friendly.

ThunderCore provides plenty of resources on their Developers Portal for developers interested in developing on ThunderCore. The range of resources include topics related to Deploying your own ERC20 to Migrating from Ethereum, where you can learn how to deploy your own TT20 token, create your own DApp on ThunderCore, as well as many other resources to support your development journey!

However, since the EVM version is not the latest version at the moment, this causes minor issues for experienced developers. This upgrade will also solve this issue by bringing ThunderCore’s EVM compatibility to the latest version — Istanbul. With that said, we’re excited for this network upgrade as that means potentially more DApps and projects as well as more cross-chain interoperability! Looking forward to the next steps of ThunderCore!
